FROM THE SURGEON:

There are many reasons why your front may not look like it used to. Pregnancy, surgery, age, weight changes, and life are all contributing factors to losing that stable midsection. Whatever the reason, there are many situations where surgery is not only helpful but may be necessary to meet your goals. In cases where the muscles have lost their orientation or have been cut and never found their way back to each other, reconstruction can help to literally rebuild what was lost. In some cases, the rebuilding can provide additional support, leading to a renovation effect rather than a simple recovery effort.
